Kathryn studied Law at Queen’s University in Belfast where she graduated in June 2012, before obtaining a distinction in the Certificate of Professional Legal Studies in June 2015. On graduation, Kathryn was awarded the Thomasena McKinney Prize as the trainee who achieved the best results in the examinations leading to the award of the Certificate in Professional Legal Studies. She was also awarded first prize by the Belfast Solicitors Association and the Martin McBirney Memorial Prize.

Upon qualification Kathryn joined the Corporate, Banking & Finance department as a Solicitor. Kathryn advises clients on a range of commercial legal matters and her main areas of work include corporate transactions, commercial contracts, non-contentious intellectual property issues and non-contentious employment law.

Kathryn is a member of the Company Commercial Lawyers Group and the Employment Lawyers Group of Northern Ireland.
