Karen is known for her enthusiasm for planning. She has been a Legal Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 1999 and specialises in planning and environmental law, energy, licensing and public law. Her vast experience in these fields allows clients to obtain proactive, practical advice quickly and easily on even the most complex legal situations.
Karen receives numerous commendation from clients and in legal directories which consistently recommend her as a leader in the planning, environmental and public law fields. Karen was elected to the Council of the UK Environmental Law Association (“UKELA”) in summer 2013, and to the Northern Ireland Council of the Confederation of British Industry (“CBI”) in December 2013.
Karen is not scared to get her hands (and quite often her feet) dirty, although her preference is for site visits on sunny afternoons.
