Helen is a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution department and specialises in commercial and banking litigation and contentious probate. Helen has expertise in a number of niche areas including professional negligence, cyber risk and procurement. In addition, Helen also has substantial experience of High Court proceedings, in advising financial institutions on mortgage repossession matters and has detailed knowledge of estate administration procedure. She advises both local and international organisations, financial institutions and private companies, and also advises individuals in relation to commercial and general disputes.
Helen studied Law at Queen’s University, Belfast and qualified as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland following completion of her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Helen is qualified to practise in Northern Ireland.
In recognition of Helen’s performance, she was awarded the prestigious McIvor Farrell Prize for Negotiation by the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2016 and the Professional Conduct Prize by the Law Society of Northern Ireland in 2017.
