Peter graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Law from Queen’s University Belfast in 2012, winning a number of academic awards including the Lord Lowry Prize for achieving the top marks in his final year.

Peter comes from a public law background, completing his training contract in the Office of the Attorney General for Northern Ireland before joining Cleaver Fulton Rankin in 2015. Peter’s main areas of work include planning, environmental and public law and he specialises in liquor Licensing, regularly advising clients in Northern Ireland and across the UK for all types of premises.

Peter is a member of the Environmental and Planning Law Association of Northern Ireland. He is active within his local community especially in his work with young people. He was recently appointed as an independent member of the North Down and Ards Policing and Community Safety Partnership. In his spare time Peter is also a keen football and rugby player.
