Gillian Shaw has recently joined the firm as a solicitor in the corporate/commercial department.
She has a wealth of experience in media and creative industry work generally and has worked on a range of film and television productions across the UK and Ireland.
Gillian also has gained experience acting for publishers, advertising agencies, web and new media, stage schools, authors and other talent in relation to intellectual property, commercial and regulatory matters. She has managed international trade mark portfolios for clients and advised on licensing arrangements and assignments of intellectual property rights.
Gillian has a particular expertise in copyright law having completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in UK, EC & US Copyright Law at Kings College London.
Away from work Gillian enjoys horseriding, although her competitive showjumping days are over, and going for long walks with her dogs.
