Caitriona studied at Queen’s University Belfast and after completing her training contract with the firm, was appointed as an Assistant Solicitor in September 2010.
Caitriona spends most of her time working within the firm’s Insolvency department and provides advice to Trustees in Bankruptcy, Liquidators and Administrators acting in both contentious and non contentious issues. She also advises clients in relation to bankruptcy proceedings, winding up proceedings and Individual Voluntary Arrangements. Caitriona also assists in initiating court proceedings on behalf of clients with particular focus on bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
As well as representing insurance companies, individuals and other bodies in defending personal injury claims in both the High Court and County Court Caitriona advises clients in a wide range of areas including minor and serious injuries sustained from road traffic accidents, accidents at work, breaches of Health and Safety legislation, and negligence.
Caitriona is a committee member of the Northern Ireland Young Solicitors’ Association and in her free time enjoys travelling and exploring the rest of the world!
