Claire advises clients on a range of contentious and non contentious Planning and Environmental issues and she has a particular interest in the waste, renewables and energy sectors. She regularly advises in relation to consents, licensing and permitting requirements in respect of various projects. Claire advises and represents clients at Appeals, Inquiries and Tribunals. She defends environmental prosecutions and planning enforcement actions and represents both applicants and respondents in judicial review challenges.
Claire also has advised on employment related matters, including contracts, procedures and policies, dismissals and redundancies, unlawful discrimination, Section 75 duties and TUPE matters
