Boardroom Apprentice Seminar – ‘What’s this governance thing?’

Cleaver Fulton Rankin is hosting a training event on the topic of ‘What’s this governance thing?’ on Friday 6 October at Cleaver Fulton Rankin Offices for the Boardroom Apprentice Programme.

The Boardroom Apprentice programme is centred around three core areas including, providing training, experience and support to prepare and equip aspiring board members in their future positions on boards.

In support of this initiative, Cleaver Fulton Rankin experts including Head of Charity, Sarah Burrows, Employment Associate, Aisling Byrne, Dispute Resolution Associate, Julie-Ann McCaffrey-Flynn and Charity and Employment Solicitor, Nathan Campbell are providing interactive training concentrating on the following key topics:

  • Legal Structure of Boards and Due Diligence before Joining a Board;
  • Director / Trustee Duties; and
  • Key Organisational Policies: Employee, HR and Data Protection Issues.

In addition to the information sessions as outlined above, Boardroom Apprentices will also have the opportunity to take part in practical sessions to apply their knowledge.
