Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s Cinema Night raises money to fund 133 Nursing hours for Macmillan Cancer Support

December 20, 2016

Cleaver Fulton Rankin held a charity screening of the original classic, Ghostbusters on Thursday 20th October at Odyssey Cinemas Belfast in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan Cancer Support is Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s chosen Charity of the Year for 2016, and we are delighted to have raised £3,346.54 on the night, paying for 133 CNS Nursing Hours, in aid of a valuable and worthwhile cause.

On the night, guests enjoyed a drinks reception, and before the film began, guests were treated to a Cleaver Fulton Rankin Ghostbusters special spoof film courtesy of Corish Productions, followed by a fabulous raffle draw presented by BBC’s Joel Taggart. During the film, guests were provided with a Cleaver Fulton Rankin goodie bag which included a drink, snacks and various goodies!

Cleaver Fulton Rankin Associate and organiser of the event, Judith Jones said, “We are delighted with the amount raised for Macmillan and would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors and all the businesses who donated raffle prizes, and to all our guests who attended and kindly donated to this worthwhile cause.”
