Leading Belfast law firm Cleaver Fulton Rankin hit the jackpot raising an impressive £22,000 for The Prince’s Trust as their chosen Charity of the Year.

Staff hosted a range of fundraising events including Bingo Belles and the Brains of Belfast Quiz while also offering ‘in kind’ support to disadvantaged young people through mentoring, interview skills advice and work placements.

Karen Blair, Managing Director of Cleaver Fulton Rankin said, ““The staff at Cleaver Fulton Rankin are delighted that we have raised £22,000 for our 2014 Charity of the Year, The Prince’s Trust. We have closed off a great year of fundraising for The Prince’s Trust and our fundraising efforts have included Bingo Belles, the Brains of Belfast Quiz and a Giro themed cycling event sales. Our staff are proud to have been involved in and contributed to fundraising ideas that have made a direct and tangible contribution to local disadvantaged young people. Throughout the year our Solicitors also provided support through facilitating CV and Interview Skills sessions for young people on The Prince’s Trust programmes.”

This year The Prince’s Trust will provide practical and financial support to around 5,000 young people in Northern Ireland who are not in work, education or training, helping them develop key skills, confidence and motivation. They operate a range of successful programmes all aimed at engaging young people and encouraging them to take control of their lives and build a brighter future.
