Joe Marley, a Director in the Property Department, recently obtained a Certificate in Conveyancing and Property Law awarded by the Law Society in the Republic of Ireland. This achievement was awarded following a four month course and assessment in 2014 hosted by the Law Society in Dublin.
The Property Team at Cleaver Fulton Rankin ensure that they keep well-informed of property law developments in the Republic of Ireland and also ensure that at least one of their property lawyers retain a Practising Certificate to act in the South. This demonstrates a lasting commitment to client service. This is also an appealing service for any prospective clients with portfolios in both jurisdictions.
Joe commented, “It is a great qualification to have to my name, and one that is of huge benefit to the firm as the knowledge gained can now be shared throughout the department. Many of our clients have interests in the Republic of Ireland as well as in the rest of the UK, and it is important for us to meet these needs where we can. We also have an all-Ireland legal alliance with top Dublin firm Matheson, with whom we work very closely on matters of greater complexity”
Director and Head of the Property Department, Kathryn Collie, commented, “In achieving this Republic of Ireland specific certificate, Joe has demonstrated his commitment meeting the needs of our clients. The Property team at Cleaver Fulton Rankin have a reputation for client service and always provide high quality legal advice.”
