Cycling enthusiasts at Cleaver Fulton Rankin and Ulster Bank went head to head in a 10 mile time trial at the Cleaver Fulton Rankin offices on Friday 5 May to celebrate the Giro D’Italia and to raise funds for The Prince’s Trust.

Podium4Sport kindly provided 4 bicycles as individuals from Ulster Bank and Cleaver Fulton Rankin got into the Giro spirit.

Competition in the 10 mile time trial was high but Maria O’Loan, Director at Cleaver Fulton Rankin took home the coveted 1st place trophy closely followed by Ulster Bank’s Patrick Dewar. 3rd place was won by Jonathan Boyle from Ulster Bank. The team prize was given to Ulster Bank for the most miles covered.

Throughout the day colleagues and guests arrived to cheer on the cyclists and some even took part in the “Cycle in Your Suit” challenge and were rewarded with a medal.

The event rounded off with a prizegiving and a networking lunch. The total amount raised for The Prince’s Trust was £1940.

Maria O’Loan, Director at Cleaver Fulton Rankin said, ““Cleaver Fulton Rankin would like to extend our thanks to Ulster Bank, Podium4Sport and everyone who supported  our Giro Cycling event and helped both us and Ulster Bank raise funds for The Prince’s Trust.   Other fundraising efforts so far this year include Bingo Belles, our curry club, monthly dress down days and bake sales, with more events planned for later in the year. Our staff have been delighted to be involved and contribute to fundraising ideas that have made a direct and tangible contribution to local young people in need of support.”
