May 14, 2014

The inaugural Institute of Legacy Management (ILM) Northern Irish Conference will be held on 18 September 2014 at NICA’s premises and will be sponsored by Cleaver Fulton Rankin.

With 500 members, representing 300 charities, ILM is the foremost provider of information and training on legacy administration, relied upon by the charity sector to ensure that the £2 billion of legacy gifts received each year are managed and distributed in accordance with deceased’s wishes.

With a packed and varied programme, the conference will cover issues of concern for the charity sector and will include presentations on the administration of estates, property issues for Legacy Managers and Charity Law issues. The Cleaver Fulton Rankin Charities team, leading local counsel and other medical and legacy professionals will give presentations on the landscape of the legal issues which can arise during the administration of estates. There will also be opportunities to network and exchange ideas with fellow attendees.

Jonathan Forrester, Cleaver Fulton Rankin Director commented that “We are delighted to support the Institute of Legacy Management in bringing its first conference to Northern Ireland. We know that this is an event which will be of real benefit and interest to the charity sector in Northern Ireland.”
